New Alumasc Facade Systems Projects Now Online

A number of new, completed projects have been added to the Project Profiles section of the Alumasc Façade Systems website.

The projects range from private housing, to medium rise properties, to a nursery school and a number of commercial projects, now added to their own dedicated section.

Two private properties, Grantwood Road and Charlecombe Road have been refurbished with Alumasc Façade products.

Grantwood Road a large, three bedroom detached house has been refurbished with Silkolitt Silicone Render, providing the property with a new, high quality exterior finish.

Charlecome Road, which has been shortlisted for a 2015 INCA Award, has undergone an extensive refurbishment with External Wall Insulation.

Swisslab EWI has been used with phenolic insulation which has saw the U Value of property reduced from 2.14W/m2k to 0.28W/m2k.

Another site which has benefited from External Wall Insulation from Alumasc, is the Exeter Cathedral School Nursery. The newly built nursery utilised Alumasc’s Swistherm External Wall Insulation, providing it with a high quality external appearance and energy efficiency.

DSCN0016Planning constraints meant that the area in which the nursery is based is of ‘historical interest’ meaning the silicone render finish had to match the colour of the existing city walls.

Three projects have also been added to the website which have used the new, Alumasc Ventilated System (AVS) for timber framed properties.

AVS offers an alternative approach to traditional build, particularly for new build timber framed housing. It provides an engineered, stylish facade solution, with the option of utilising modern off-site construction techniques.

The system is designed to provide a fully ventilated cavity, which keeps the timber substrate moisture-free, and is compatible with both render and brick slip finishes.

Two medium rise properties, Carnwadrik and Panmure Street in Scotland have benefited from AVS along with Bellevue Terrace, a number of new terraced house in the Tottderdown area of Bristol.

Finally, two commercial projects have been added to the website, with a new, dedicated Commercial Projects section created.

A striking and contemporary look has been given to a new office development on Shrewsbury Business Park thanks to Alumasc Silkolitt Silcone Render which was used in standard white with a 1.5mm rolled texture.

High Barn Farm Kennels meanwhile have used Alumasc Swistherm External Wall Insulation on a new building to house dogs, keeping the building warm and insulated for the pets.  The full range of projects can be seen by clicking the links below:
