Following a recent report by the Institute for Public Policy Research (IPPR) on the benefits of External Wall Insulation for the UK, the INCA Awards demonstrate just how vital External Wall Insulation is for improving the energy efficiency of buildings in both the non-residential and domestic sectors, reducing fuel poverty and regenerating local communities. The annual Awards are a platform to promote the outstanding work undertaken by INCA members over the past 12 months and a large number of them took the opportunity to submit projects again this year. As well as showcasing the leading External Wall Insulation projects, this year’s Awards also recognise the efforts of INCA members in championing training and sustainability throughout their businesses.
The judging panel, comprised of industry experts from AgilityECO, BBA, CITB, HA Magazine and QA National Warranties (QANW), praised the high level of technical excellence achieved on the wide range of projects which have helped to improve living standards and led to wider social benefits.
Gearoid Lane, CEO of AgilityECO, who was part of the judging panel, said:
“The standard of entries was extremely high, which goes to show the excellent quality of work which is being done in the External Wall Insulation industry. INCA members are consistently using External Wall Insulation to transform the energy efficiency of buildings and improve the lives of people across the UK. Congratulations to all of those companies that made it onto a very competitive short list.”
The winners will be revealed at the INCA 2014 Awards Dinner on Thursday 16 October which is returning to the Sheraton Park Lane Hotel in London’s Mayfair following the huge success of last year’s event.
Alumasc Exterior Building Products Ltd are sponsoring the event, the black-tie gala dinner will showcase the External Wall Insulation industry to over 275 guests from across the construction industry.
